Kastelli Kissamou (commonly known as Kissamos) is a small seaside town. The name Kastelli (castle) refers to the Venetian fortress that was once stood there. Parts of the fortress are still preserved. Kasteli or Kissamos is a popular tourist destination with all necessary infrastructure.
From the harbor you can take ferries to Gramvousa and Balos, one of the most popular and breathtaking beaches of Crete.
