The area of ​​Apokoronas is known as one of the most beautiful in Crete. Green hills, running waters, traditional villages and the largest natural lake of the island are only some of the features of Apokoronas.

Our first stop is the traditional village of Armenoi, where you can see old watermills and huge plane trees.

We continue to the northern foothills of the White Mountains and the village of Alikampos to admire its many preserved monuments and interesting architecture. Here we learn more about the traditional cultivation of olive and fruit trees in the area.

This tour would not be complete without a stop at Lake Kournas, the largest natural lake in Crete, surrounded by a lush landscape and the White Mountains in the background. Here you can enjoy a walk around the lake, or even swim in its cool waters.

We finish our tour to the village of Armenoi, where we will enjoy a wonderful meal under the shade of the plane trees.
